Flood Damage Bringing In Mud

It's not every day that we have to bring excavators on our job sites! This commercial property experienced severe flood damage indoors and outside of their facility. Not only did we mitigate the flood damage within building, but we brought in an excavation company to remove 3-5 inches of mud from the parking lot.

NJ Forest Fires

A wildfire that engulfed more than 18 square miles of Penn State Forest over the weekend is finally 100 percent contained.  The fire was sparked in an open, sandy area near Spring Hill Road in Woodland Township at a location where, in the past, "people congregate to have illegal bonfires," said Trevor Raynor, a section fire warden for the forest fire service.

Hurricane Storm Damage in Collingdale, PA

We pulled this picture from a home in Collingdale, PA after Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast. Pictured here is a piece of equipment called the Injectidry.  It is set up in the front wall of the structure where most of the water hit first.  SERVPRO of South Philadelphia/SE Delaware County uses this machine to dry hidden areas of moisture, such as walls, ceilings, and hard wood floor surfaces.  Holes are drilled into the area of needed drying and then the hoses are plugged into those spots so they can complete a more efficient drying process for the entire structure.
